1.therangeof表示在····范围内(有限制的一个范围）,一般前面有加介词in的,theextentof表示程度,也可以用来表示大笑,面积和范围,但是没有加以限定.
2.have,make,let等词后面可以有三种表达形式：+do表示让某人做某事,+doing,让某人一直做某事,+done让什么东西被做····这里让serviceman去install应该是主动的,所以就选a了
3.a这里主要是therebe句型做目的或程度状语时用fortheretobe,做其他状语用therebeing,简单点就是如果前面的介词是for那就用tobe,是其他介词就用therebeing.
4.a因为这句话是一个句子,不能有两个谓语的,而且只有动名词,不定式,分词才能作非谓语用,b中的be是谓语动词,是被动,所以选a
5.他应该有很多机会来改变主意的,这里adversing可能是引申的意思吧,其他选项比较不符
