Recentlyourclassmatesdidasurveyaboutthetrafficaccidenttopupilsandmiddleschoolstudentsanditscauses.Theresultsareasfollows.Thereisnodenyingthatbothdriversandstudentsshouldbearresponsibilities.Ononehand,driverscannotconcentratetheirmindandmakeaphonecallwhendriving.Somedriversevendriveoverthespeedlimitandignorethepassers-by’sexistence.What’sworse,somedriveafterdrinking,whichisoneofthemaincausesofthetrafficaccident.Ontheotherhand,thestudentsarelackinginsafetyconsciousness.Theyoftendosomethingthatdisobeytrafficrules,suchasgoingtoschool.bymotorcycle,ridingonroadways/lanes,walkingacrossstreetsratherthantakingundergroundtunnels,andreadingandlisteningtomusicwhilewalking.Unfortunately,alloftheseaspectsresultintheterribleaccident,whichdogreatharmtobothfamilies.Personally,IthinktheTrafficDepartmentshouldattachtheimportanceofsafetyconsciousnesstothedrivers.Meanwhile,somedriverswhoviolatethetrafficlawshouldbepunishedseriously.Asforyoungstudents,teachersandparentsshouldstrengthenchildren’ssafetyeducationandteachthemhowtoprotectthemselvesandvaluetheirlives.
