第一个不是修饰人的么？貌似是吧？，还有为什么第二个去掉much？

第一个pleased修饰人，而这里it是代替真正的主语toreceivealetter，是一件事情。所以用pleasant.如：pleasantweather/journeyIampleasedtomeetyou.第二个howeagerly引导宾语从句，和前面的howpleasant并列。在how引导宾语从句时，后面直接跟形容词或者副词。howmuch表示数量多少，后面不再接形容词和副词。还有问题吗？可以直接hi。
