1、用不用other取决于shanghai包含不包含在句子中所提到的Europe范围内,如果是China就要说“ShanghaiislargerthananyothercityinChina.上海比中国其他的城市都要大.”因为上海市中国城市之一.
2、hardly本身是否定词,nothing也是否定词,hardlyanything.
3、第二句是省略句,完整的应该是：HeknowsstilllessofFrench.他会的法语更少.as...as之间是要用原形的,不可以用比较级；than后面是要加比较的对象的,原句没有,所以不对.
