原句的undermine表示“伤害（感情等）”,不知道你为什么改为表示“受损”的impair.我认为undermine用得比较贴切.
confidence派生与动词confide,与介词in是固定搭配.即使变成名词,这种搭配也不能改变,改为of不妥.（confidencein…意思是“在…方面的信赖/信心”）
economy'sability和abilityofeconomy的意思都是“属于经济的能力”,只不过你的改动更符合语法.不过我认为应该是“与经济有关的能力”,改用形容词economiccapability（ability表示先天具有的能力,capability表示潜在的能力）为妥.
不定式tocreateunemployment意思是“会造成失业的（经济能力）”,分词短语表示“正在或已经造成失业的（经济能力）”.我认为前者为好.
