SincethenuCleanUpAustraliaMhasgot7 everyyear.In2002forexample800000peoplecleanedupalmost15000tonsofrubbishfromAustralia’sbeachesparksandstreets.
Kiermanwas8 withthesuccessofhisproject.In2003hestartedanevenbiggerprogram.Withthe9 oftheUnitedNationsEnvironmentProgrammeintroduced“CleanUptheWorldaninternationalprogramthatsupportscommunitiesaroundtheworldincleaningupandprotectingtheenvironment.“CleanUptheWorld”hasgrown10 andhiswonderfulideahasnowspreadfromonecitytothewholeworld.
