这句话当然不成立.
理由是现在分词的逻辑主语应该与句子主语保持一致.Fluoride只能是被使用于...中,而不是使用于...中
所以应该用现在分词被动形式
FluoridehasbeenbannedforbeingusedinACunits,lesseningtheozonelayer'sdepletion.
而这也不正确,因为ban的用法是加from而不是for来表示禁止做某事,这样就得改为
FluoridehasbeenbannedfrombeingusedinACunits,lesseningtheozonelayer'sdepletion.
这样一来整个句子就显拖拉了.
而使用use的名词形式就不存在这些条条框框.
