不要管什么subordinating和coordinating,按照意思就可以了.意思就是尽管heisbestknownasajazzvocalist,(但是)记住英文中但是是没有的,要不句子就不对了,(但是)他也喜欢gospelmusic,所以(so)hetold...
whereby在这个句子里面根本就不符合逻辑.whereby是throughwhich这样子的意思,例子:anideawherebynewinventionscanbemade,就是throughthisidea,newinventionscanbemade.这个句子里面的关系不是这样子的.句子中说的就是他还喜欢gospelmusic,所以他就要怎么怎么样子,理解意思就好了.
