Tactshouldnotbeconfusedwithtrickery.Trickeryoccurswhenanurseisabouttogiveapatientaninjection(注射)andsays“Thiswon'thurtabit.”Insteadoftrickerythenursemightguaranteethepatientthatthediscomfortoftheinjectionisasmallthingcomparedtothebenefitsofit.Itwouldalsobethoughtfulforthenursetotellthepatientsaboutsomeofthesebenefits.
Tactisawonderfulskilltohaveandtactfulpeopleareusuallyadmiredandrespected.Withouttactoursocietywouldbecomeanintolerableplacetolivein.
