1831,heopenedafactorytomakechocolatedrink.Hewantedtoencouragepeopletodrinkchocolateinstead

ofotherdrinks.Afewyearslater,amancalledJosephFryfoundawaytomakechocolateinsteadofonly

drinkingit.Butatthattimechocolatewasveryexpensiveandonlytherichpeoplecouldbuyit.Later,admore

andmorechocolatebarswereproducedandsold,itbecamecheaper.

However,atfirstonlyplainchocolate(akindofchocolatewithoutmilkandwithverylittlesugar)was

produced.Milkchocolatecamelaterandthiswasmadebyaddingmilktothechocolate.Thefirstmilk

chocolatebarwasmadeinCadbury'sfactoryin1897.Theirmostfamouschocolate,Cadbury'sMilkBar,was

madein1905,IthasbeenthemostpopularchocolateinBritainandaroundtheworldforover100years.The

CadburyfactoryisstillinBritainandthechocolateproducedthereiseatenallovertheworld.Everyyear,

thousandsofvisitorsvisitthefactoryinordertoseehowchocolateismade.
