Therewasabigfireinoneofficebuildinginourneighborhoodataboutnine4o’clocklastnight.Manyfiremenandfireenginescame.Inthebeginning,wesawflameswiththickblacksmokecomingoutfromthesixthfloor;andwealsoheardtheexplosionofthegastankmixedwiththenoisysoundsfromshatteringwindows.Soonthefirespreadonebyonetothefloorsabove,andfinallyreachthetopfloor.Somealuminumwindowframesandsomebrickwallsmetedandcollapsedfromtheheat.Manypeoplelikemyselfstoodoutsideonthestreetswatchingthefireinhorrorasweheardthesirensandgasexplosions.Luckilytherewasnooneinthatofficebuildingwhenthefirebrokeout.Thefire-menwereunabletocontrolthefireuntilthetopfloorwasburnedout;ittookaboutoneandahalfhoursforthefirementoputoutthebigfire.Thenextmorningnewspaperscarriedthestoryandpicturesofthefire.
