7.DefectsandCancellationoforders
Ifdefectsfoundduringthe10%FinalInspectionofgoodsinthepurchaseorder,therewillbepenaltiesassessedagainstthepurchaseorderbasedonthefollowing:
Ifdefectsarefoundinlessthan1%oftheshipment,therewillbenopenaltyandtheinspectorwillmakesurethedefectivesidentifiedaredestroyedbythefactory.
Ifdefectsarefoundin1%to3%oftheshipment,eachMajordefectwillbeassessedaUSD$500.00penaltyperdefectandeachMinordefectwillbeassessedaUSD$200.00penaltyperdefect.Theinspectorwillmakesurethedefectivesidentifiedaredestroyedbythefactory.Factorytocorrectissuewithoutdelayorpossiblecancellationoforder.
Ifdefectsarefoundin3%to10%oftheshipment,theinspectionquantitywillbeincreasedfroma10%toa100%auditofthegoods.EachMajordefectwillbeassessedaUSD$500.00penaltyperdefectandeachMinordefectwillbeassessedaUSD$200.00penaltyperdefect.Theinspectorwillmakesurethedefectivesidentifiedaredestroyedbythefactory.Inthisinstance,thefactorywillbeadditionallyresponsibleforthecostoftheauditincludingthecostfortransportationandhotellodging.
Ifunacceptablequalityanddefectsarefoundsurpassing10%oftheshipment,RandaLuggagereservestherighttoCANCELtheorderandrefusethegoods.
Thereisazero-tolerancepolicyforCriticaldefects.ACriticaldefectisamajorfailureoftherawmaterialorastructural/constructionfailure.Theorderissubjecttocancellationifanycriticaldefectisfound.
ApenaltyTableisaccompaniedwiththispolicy.
