1.make是ing作伴随,makingpreparationsforhisorherinterview修饰了jobhunters,你可以把两个逗号之间的部分当作插入语,去掉之后看,如果是hoping,则整句话缺少谓语动词.故改成hoped/hopes
2.不需要,整句时态统一,不要用将来时
