ThisstretchalongtheLiRiverisprobablythemostrenownedandpopular.Therearerivercruisesavailableandinfact,theGuilin-Yangshuoboatridepassesthroughthisarea.Thereisalsoa24km(5to6hours)trackforeasyhikingalongtheLiriver.ThewalkisafarmorepeacefulwaytoenjoytheLiriverandmountainscenerythantheloudnoisyboatdowntheriver.Ittakesyoualongthepebblyshoresoftheriver,throughmanysmallvillages,fieldsandbambooforests.Ifyougettired,youcanalwaysrentabamboorafttofloatdowntheriver.Gettingthere:TherearevariouswaysofreachingthisstretchoftheLiRiver.YoucanofcoursecatchadirectrivercruisefromYangshuotown.YoucanalsogettoXingpingbyminibus(calledxiaomianbaoor"littlebreadloaves")fromYangshuobusterminal,orcycleoutthereandthentakeboatsorbambooraftstoreachthescenicarea.Again,combinationsofthevariousmodesarepossible.
