这是怎么算出来的,thequarteroftheday还有thesecondhalfofthe怎么我觉得Jean和Kate工作的时间不一样呢?

thequarteroftheday是四分之一天
thesecondhalfofmyworkday是我工作日的后一半
前两段都是Jean说的,第一段说的一半就是第二段的4小时,所以每天总共工作8小时.其中2小时cleanupthecounter,两小时helpinthekitchen,四小时是takeordersatthecounters.
Kate“spendtwomorehoursinthekitchen”,就是说一共是2+2=4（小时）.
她们都是标准的8小时工作制,比我们学生强多了……题外话,要是想以后的八小时更加好过,现在还是要好好学习啊.
