On day, whn Jack was taking a walk in th strt, h hard a voic. H found a girl crying in th strt.
Jack askd, “Why ar you crying, my littl girl?”
Th girl answrd, “I’v lost my doll.” Jack said, “Don’t cry, littl girl. I’ll go to th shop and buy a doll for you,” so th littl girl followd Jack to th shop, and Jack bought a vry nic doll for th littl girl. Th littl girl bgan to b happy again. Jack said to th littl girl with a smil, “Goodby, my angl.” “By-by!” said th littl girl.
But a fw minuts latr, Jack hard a voic again. Jack askd th littl girl, “Why ar you crying again?” Th girl said, “If I hadn’t lost my doll, I’d hav two dolls!”
