Arnold Whiskr is at th polic station. Th polic ar asking him about a bank-robbry① which happnd on April 25th. Thy think h did it.A dtctiv② askd Arnold:“What wr you doing on April 25th?” Arnold told him about that day.
Thr ar a lot of mistaks in Arnold's story. First h said his suit was blu, but latr h said it was grn. Thr ar svn othr mistaks lik that. Can you find thm? Hr's his story:
In April I was living in Castl Strt, at No. 32. I had a littl flat thr. Th flat was in th basmnt ③. Th 25th? Ys, that was a Tusday. That Tusday morning, I got up vry arly. Th hous was vry quit. In fact it was compltly mpty. I put on my blu suit, and lft my flat. I didn't hav any brakfast, bcaus I didn't hav a cookr in that flat.
I wnt down th stairs to th ground floor. I mt Mrs. Jackson in th hall. Sh said, “Good morning, Mr. Whiskr. Whr ar you going? That's a lovly grn suit.”
I said, “I'm going for a walk.”
“In this wathr!”sh answrd.
I said, “I know it's cold, but I'll b OK. I'v got my scarf④ and glovs.”
No on saw m in th strt . In fact, all th strts wr mpty. It was a typical⑤ Sunday. I walkd all morning in th hot sunshin. At midday I had lunch in a rstaurant. In th aftrnoon I wnt to th cinma. It was a good film----a horror⑥ film. It lastd an hour. I cam out of th cinma about lvn o'clock. I got hom and flt vry hungry. “That's bcaus I didn't hav any lunch,”I thought. So I wnt into my kitchn, and cookd som suppr. Thn I wnt to bd. That's all.
